Security & Data Protection
Last updated September 9, 2026
Agents Velo is designed to protect customer, account, and conversation data while limiting data collection and access to what is reasonably necessary to provide our services.
This page provides a high-level overview of the security and data protection practices used by Agents Velo.
1. Data Protection
Agents Velo uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through our services.
These safeguards include:
- encrypted transmission using TLS or other secure protocols;
- encryption at rest where provided by our managed infrastructure and service providers;
- secure transmission between integrated services;
- managed cloud infrastructure;
- authentication and access controls; and
- restricted access to production data and systems.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
2. Data Collection and Retention
Agents Velo seeks to collect and retain only information reasonably necessary to operate the service and provide customer-requested functionality.
Depending on the service being used, this may include:
- account and company information;
- sign-in and verification metadata;
- agent configurations and settings;
- customer-provided business information;
- phone numbers and contact information;
- call recordings;
- transcripts and messages;
- conversation summaries and analytics;
- agent-generated outputs;
- usage and technical logs; and
- billing and transaction information.
Data retention depends on the type of information, customer configuration, operational requirements, service-provider limitations, and applicable legal requirements.
Where supported, customer data may be deleted through the service or upon a valid deletion request.
Additional information about collection and retention is available in our Privacy Policy.
3. Access Controls
Access to Agents Velo systems and customer information is restricted according to operational need.
Security practices may include:
- role-based permissions;
- least-privilege access;
- authentication requirements;
- account-verification controls where supported or required;
- multi-factor authentication for administrative services where supported;
- restricted production-system access; and
- separation of customer access based on account and organization permissions.
Customers control access granted to users within their organization and are responsible for maintaining appropriate user permissions.
4. Infrastructure Security
Agents Velo relies primarily on managed cloud and infrastructure providers rather than operating physical data centers directly.
Our infrastructure practices are designed to include:
- reputable managed infrastructure providers;
- security updates and maintenance;
- network and service-level protections;
- monitoring and logging;
- backup and recovery capabilities where applicable; and
- redundancy provided by underlying infrastructure where available.
5. Application Security
Agents Velo incorporates security controls throughout the application and development process.
These may include:
- authentication and authorization controls;
- server-side access enforcement;
- input validation;
- secure handling of application secrets and credentials;
- protections against common application vulnerabilities;
- logging of relevant system and security events;
- monitoring and error detection;
- controlled API access;
- rate limiting or abuse-prevention controls where used; and
- review and testing of changes before production deployment.
Sensitive credentials and private service keys are not intended to be exposed through customer-facing applications.
6. Third-Party Services
Agents Velo uses third-party providers to deliver portions of the service.
These may include providers for:
- cloud infrastructure and data storage;
- authentication and identity;
- phone or account verification;
- telecommunications;
- AI voice and conversation processing;
- speech transcription;
- AI inference;
- payment processing;
- email delivery; and
- monitoring or other operational services.
We evaluate providers based on factors such as security, reliability, functionality, and suitability for the services they provide.
Information is shared with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate the applicable functionality.
7. Security Incident Response
If Agents Velo becomes aware of a suspected security incident, we may take steps to:
- investigate the incident;
- contain affected systems or access;
- determine the nature and scope of the issue;
- remediate identified vulnerabilities or risks;
- restore affected functionality;
- preserve relevant information; and
- take steps intended to reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
We will notify affected customers or individuals when required by applicable law or contractual obligations.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Security is also dependent on how customers use Agents Velo.
Customers are responsible for:
- protecting account credentials;
- using strong and unique passwords;
- controlling access to email addresses, phone numbers, and external identity-provider accounts used with the Service;
- enabling available security protections where appropriate;
- limiting access to authorized users;
- maintaining appropriate organization permissions;
- protecting credentials for connected services and integrations;
- promptly removing access for users who no longer require it; and
- ensuring they have the legal right to provide information processed through Agents Velo.
Customers should promptly notify Agents Velo if they suspect unauthorized account access or another security issue.
9. Security Practices and Certifications
Agents Velo may continue to expand its security controls as the service develops.
We do not represent that Agents Velo holds a particular security certification, audit, or compliance designation unless that certification or designation is expressly stated by Agents Velo.
Security practices, infrastructure, and this documentation may be updated as our systems and services evolve.
